How do I set my career vision?

Great question.  Just like a business plan for a corporation, it is important for you to have a vision for your career and life.  Your goal is to make the results that you want to happen, happen.  

The following points are important for creating your vision:  

1. Answer this question: What do you want to say you have  accomplished in the next three to five years?  For example:  I am a project leader on a sustainability project in a large pharmaceutical organization, with my ultimate goal to be on the   senior leadership team.Learn to cast your net wide to meet people both in personal and professional gatherings. Network to turn strangers into acquaintances, turn acquaintances into useful allies and turn allies into members of your team who will help you succeed.
