How Do I Find A Mentor?

Questions from Kappa Delta members,          Answers from author Susan Butler

Your team should include faculty, friends, role models, alumni, experts in your field, mentors and advocates. Mentors are absolutely critical and can provide different types of assistance. A good mentor should be:

2. A career counselor. A good mentor will help you plot your career path, prepare for annual reviews, and provide an outsiders' viewpoint of career opportunities and feedback you receive from others.
